Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NMFC, Tariff rules and DOT regulations preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Multi-tasking and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, educate and develop employees focusing on retention and growth.
• Supervise and direct employee work with focus on quality, safety, and customer deliverables.
• Educate employees about unsafe acts/conditions and implement corrective actions.
• Plan daily manpower and set schedules to ensure on-time freight delivery and pickups.
• Communicate job assignments clearly and coordinate with all staff.
• Monitor service freight and ensure cut time compliance.
• Identify opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiencies while maintaining safety standards.
• Assist customers with rate quotes, claim information and setting appointments.
• Monitor actual performance data and prepare reports.
• Build relationships with business partners to meet service standards.
• Identify freight moving at incorrect weight/classification; ensure OS&D processing.
• Perform administrative functions; comply with laws and company policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
