Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead the design, procurement, and build of material handling systems for TJX distribution centers serving TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, HomeSense and Sierra stores.

You will coordinate all project phases, mentor engineers, and drive capital programs up to $100 million, with 40-60% travel. A Bachelor's in Engineering and 6+ years’ PM experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical preferred).
• 6+ years of engineering and project management experience.
• Experience with material handling systems and AutoCAD design.
• Strong organizational, conflict resolution, and multi-project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, procurement, and construction of material handling systems for TJX distribution centers.
• Coordinate all project phases from inception to startup, including design, vendor selection, and cost control.
• Mentor project engineers and lead special projects.
• Develop long- and short-term capital strategies; manage programs up to $100M+ in total cost.
• Research historical data, estimate timing, costs, and space needs for centers.
• Seek innovative solutions to minimize disruption during installations.
• Travel 40%-60%.
