TJX Companies in Marlborough, MA is seeking an experienced Logistics Engineering Project Manager to lead the design, procurement, and installation of material handling systems for TJX distribution centers supporting TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, HomeSense, and Sierra.

Responsibilities include coordinating design, vendor sourcing and selection, cost control, scheduling, startup, and mentoring engineers on capital projects up to $100 million.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial or Mechanical).
• 6+ years' of Engineering & Project Management experience.
• Experience with material handling systems.
• Distribution Center/Retail experience preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD Design.
• Understanding of work methods analysis.
• Detail oriented, strong organizational and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to balance multiple projects and changing priorities and work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Project Management experience leading teams.
• Negotiation/influencing skills and strong communication skills.
• 40%-60% Travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, procurement, and installation of material handling systems.
• Coordinate design, vendor sourcing and selection, financial management, scheduling and startup.
• Research historical data to estimate timing, costs, and space needs.
• Find creative solutions to minimize disruptions in DC operations.
• Mentor Project Engineers and lead special projects.
• Manage capital projects up to $100 million or more.
