Job summary

Entergy Mississippi, LLC is seeking a skilled lineman for future openings in Mississippi. The role requires climbing poles, installing high- and low-voltage distribution lines, transformers, regulators, and working from bucket trucks. Candidates must have a Class A CDL and be willing to travel and work extended hours.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and customer service while performing restoration and maintenance across on-site facilities in multiple Mississippi locations.

Qualifications

• 5 years of lineman experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain Class A CDL.
• Ability to work irregular hours and out of town assignments as required.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to take and understand directives and complete tasks with limited supervision.
• Ability to plan and lay out all work in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Construct, build and maintain OH/UG electric facilities up to 34.5 kV.
• Install and wire transformers, regulators, capacitors, and reclosers.
• Operate trucks and equipment including bucket and digger derrick.
• Read and understand job prints and sketches; set and climb poles.
