Job summary

Entergy Corporation is seeking a skilled lineman for a potential opening in Mississippi. Responsibilities include constructing and maintaining overhead and underground electric facilities, transformers, regulators, and reclosers.

The role requires climbing poles, operating bucket trucks, and performing emergency/restoration tasks with safety as a priority. The position demands at least 5 years of lineman experience, a Class A CDL or ability to obtain one, and willingness to work irregular hours

Qualifications

• 5 years of lineman experience.
• Class A CDL required or ability to obtain.
• Ability to work irregular hours and out-of-town assignments as required.

Responsibilities

• Construct, Build and Maintain OH/UG Electric Facilities up to 34.5KV.
• Install transformers, regulators, capacitors, and reclosers.
• Operate aerial bucket and digger derrick trucks; read job prints and sketches.
• Climb and work on poles of various heights; work safely and efficiently.
