Sunset Elementary in Washington state is seeking a Lead Line to oversee kitchen readiness, assist in production, and support daily service. The role includes supervising culinary staff, ensuring quality and safety, and occasionally working as a cashier to support operations.

Qualifications require a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years in professional culinary arts with leadership, a valid food handler’s permit, and a WA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and related work experience.
• Minimum two years of professional culinary arts with leadership in food production.
• Must hold a current and valid food handler’s permit.
• Must have and maintain a valid Washington State Driver’s License.
• Ability to use grammar, spelling and math in daily communications.
• American Culinary Federation membership preferred; ServeSafe certification preferred.
• Cashier experience at point of sale preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee kitchen readiness during production and service to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food output.
• Assist in food production according to recipes and standards; support daily service.
• Float in kitchen assistant/cashier roles as needed to support the team.
• Maintain quality, safety, and presentation according to federal, local health standards.
