Job summary

Crystal Mountain Resort in Washington is seeking a Lead Line Cook (Cook 3) to co-manage a culinary outlet within Resort Operations. You train, coach, and lead the kitchen team, follow recipes and safety SOPs, and ensure high-quality, properly served food and beverage for guests.

The role requires 3–5 years of kitchen operations experience and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Housing is available for eligible positions, and the resort is part of Alterra Mountain Company.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of kitchen operations experience
• Ability to Obtain WAFood Safety Card within 3 Days of Hiring
• Some culinary outlets require Intermediate Skiing/Snowboarding ability
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, different venues and/or locations

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive SousChef in ensuring tasks are met with thorough training and direction of staff
• Act as manager of BOH operations in absence of the Executive SousChef
• Train Cook I & II and ensure adherence to recipes, SOPs and safety regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen stations and ensure high-quality food and beverage products
• Promote positive professional culinary culture across F&B outlets and the resort
• Maintain safe work environment and follow established safety practices
• Assist the Chef with daily kitchen cleaning
