Westminster Towers in Orlando is seeking a skilled cook to prepare high-quality meals for residents, guests and staff, following standardized recipes and safety standards.

The role requires 2+ years of experience in a high-volume dining environment, HS diploma, and Florida SafeStaff certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days. Westminster offers flexible hours, competitive wages, health and dental insurance for full-time staff, onsite fitness, PTO and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Florida SafeStaff certification required or obtainable within 90 days.
• 2+ years of culinary experience in a high-volume full-service dining environment.
• Basic food preparation methods and cooking techniques in quantity production.
• Proficiency with computer programs including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Set up work stations according to guidelines.
• Prepare all food items per standardized recipes in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Distribute prepared food to all service areas consistently.
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift.
• Clean and maintain station with safety and sanitation practices.
• Assist with cleaning, sanitation and organization of kitchen and equipment.
