Job summary

Sifted is building out a brand new, dynamic corporate catering space in Bellevue, and needs a highly motivated Lead Line Cook to help launch in the Spring of this year. The Lead Line Cook will oversee daily operations of their station, including ordering, staff management, and execution in collaboration with the Executive Chef.

This fast-paced, high-volume environment offers growth opportunities and a strong emphasis on safety and quality control.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in a busy restaurant, cafe, or catering setting.
• Culinary degree or similar is a plus.
• California Food Handlers Card is required? (Eligibility section)

Responsibilities

• Lead production of all station items and ensure correct temperatures and plating.
• Own labeling, organization, and discarding of out-of-date products.
• Enforce sanitation, safety standards, and QA throughout shifts.
• Assist Executive Chef with production systems, training, and day-to-day operations.
• Lead by example in safety, cleanliness, and labor optimization.
