Job summary

Muckleshoot Casino Resort in Auburn, WA is seeking a motivated kitchen team member to join our high‑volume operation. You will prepare and season dishes, maintain quality, and ensure safety and sanitation standards while working closely with a collaborative team.

We value guest service excellence, adherence to recipes, and timely production. A culinary program certificate or equivalent experience is required; Serve Safe is preferred, and ability to obtain a Class III gaming license may be needed

Qualifications

• Two years of certification from an accredited culinary program or four years of experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Serve Safe Certification preferred.
• Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Exemplifies MCR’s values and delivers excellent guest service.
• Support and promote the mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort.
• Prepare products daily while maintaining quality and a strong work ethic.
• Season and cook food according to recipes or judgment.
• Weigh and mix ingredients using kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Regulate oven and grill temperatures for proper cooking.
• Ensure attractive presentation and freshness of products.
• Maintain production knowledge with attention to taste and quality.
• Supervise staff in the Sous Chef’s absence when needed.
• Produce hygienic, cost‑effective outputs and improve procedures.
