Job summary

Muckleshoot Casino Resort in Auburn, WA, is seeking a Line Cook for its fine dining team. You will prepare steaks to guest specifications, plate dishes to high presentation standards, and work with a range of cooking techniques to deliver exceptional meals.

Ideal candidates hold a 2-year culinary certificate or equivalent upscale dining experience, plus a WA Health Card/Food Handler permit. A Class III B gaming license may be required. This is a full-time on-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Two (2) year certificates from an accredited culinary program or a minimum of 2 (Two) years' experience in an upscale dining kitchen.
• Must maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handler permit.
• Previous Line Cook experience in a fine dining setting preferred.
• Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license.
• Knowledge of health & safety standards and safety regulations as required.

• Apply grilling, broiling, searing, roasting, and sautéing techniques with precision.
• Season and cook according to recipes or judgment and experience.
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients accurately with kitchen tools.
• Coordinate timing and plating for a smooth dining experience.
• Monitor doneness through tasting, smelling, or utensil checks.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment and report malfunctions.
