Job summary

City of Palm Coast is seeking a skilled Lift Station Mechanical Technician to lead maintenance and repair of wastewater lift stations. The role involves coordinating field work, guiding technicians through complex mechanical and electrical tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

You will install, inspect, and service pumps, motors, valves, piping, and control systems, including SCADA.

Qualifications

• Requires four (4) years of professional maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, or installation experience.
• Preferred experience with wastewater pumping stations or lift stations.
• Must possess FWPCOA Class A certification and a valid Florida CDL with tanker endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily field assignments for lift station staff with foreman or supervisor.
• Provide day-to-day direction and technical guidance to technicians on mechanical, electrical, and control-system work.
• Perform installation, inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pumps, motors, valves, piping, and control panels.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot lift station equipment, including SCADA and instrumentation.
