Job summary

U.S. Water Services Corporation is seeking a Lift Station Mechanic / Maintenance Technician in New Port Richey, FL. The role focuses on inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of wastewater lift stations, pumps, motors, piping, valves, and related mechanical and electrical equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance or pump repair preferred.
• Basic knowledge of pumps, motors, piping, valves, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems and follow technical instructions.
• Basic electrical and control-system knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair wastewater lift stations and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, motors, floats, valves, piping, and other components.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and identify the cause of problems.
• Assist with installation, removal, replacement, and repair of pumps and related equipment.
• Monitor lift station operations and identify potential failures or abnormal conditions.
• Conduct routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and scheduled maintenance.
