Timberline in Government Camp is seeking an experienced Lift Operator to support Summit Pass Lift Ops. You will operate the chairlift, load and unload guests, perform snow maintenance at terminals, and assist guests while upholding safety and professionalism.

You will train with Summit Ski Area Manager, complete Level 1 Operator Exam, maintain lift logs, check tickets, and participate in the Health & Safety program. Regular attendance and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have previous lift operations experience.
• Must be Timberline approved driver and provide driving records.
• Must be 21 yr. or older.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Sufficient reading/writing skills.
• Ability to make immediate and appropriate decisions.
• Must complete written and verbal proficiency testing.
• Work with limited supervision.

Responsabilités

• Check tickets and season passes; maintain maze control and assist guests.
• Operate chairlift; load and unload guests.
• Snow maintenance at top and bottom lift terminals; assist guests as needed.
• Maintain Lift Logs and complete Lift Incident reports.
• Maintain clean lift terminals and terminal areas.
• Assist Summit Ski Area Manager with scheduling based on business levels.
• Shovel snow.
• Open and close lift stations independently.
• Evaluate staff performance with Summit Ski Area Manager.
• Ensure effective communication with staff and manager.
• Assist in corrective action procedures.
• Display leadership and professionalism at all times.
• Ensure staff appear properly groomed, in uniform and report on time.
• Promote good working rapport among staff and company personnel.
• Assist in all Summit Ski Area operations as directed.
• Present a professional, quality image at all times.
• Participate in RLK and Company’s Health & Safety Program; identify hazards and report incidents.
• Practice stewardship of facilities and environment; reduce, reuse, recycle where possible.
• Exercise sound judgment regarding language, behavior and dress.
• Be familiar with Timberline and Summit Pass information and communication network.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
