Job summary

Woodland Community Library in Woodland, WA seeks a Senior Library Assistant (80% FTE, 32 hours/week) to support both Woodland and Yale Valley libraries. Qualifications

• Three years of clerical and/or technical library experience.

• Strong English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
• Proficiency with modern office procedures and computer equipment.
• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade; college-level coursework is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch operations and coordinate staff and volunteers.
• Assist patrons with holds, requests, and information needs.
• Plan and present library programs for all ages.
• Maintain the branch collection and shelving accurately.
• Open/close the library and ensure smooth daily operations.
• May drive to Yale Valley Library as needed.
