The Livingston Library is seeking a part-time Library Assistant in Youth Services to deliver friendly, courteous service to a diverse community of residents. You will help with shelving, program registration, and basic reference inquiries while assisting with youth and family programs in the evenings and weekends.

This position requires ability to lift 25–40 lbs, strong computer skills, and a collaborative team approach. Pro-rated leave is included; background check is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and courteous communication.
• Assist youth, teens, families in programs and registrations.
• Clerical and paraprofessional tasks.
• Ability to lift 25–40 lbs regularly.
• Proficiency with Office/Google Suite and internet research.
