Job summary

Talen Energy is seeking a Lead, Learning and Development for Fossil & Corporate. You will guide a team of learning professionals, assess needs, and deliver technical, safety, and regulatory training across Houston, Allentown, and Columbus facilities.

Responsibilities include partnering with operations and corporate leaders, applying adult learning principles, and driving training programs end-to-end with a focus on safety culture and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Eight-plus years in progressive Learning & Development roles with instructional design.
• Experience with LMS, digital and blended learning programs.
• Willingness to travel to operating facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise learning and development staff across locations.
• Design, develop, deliver, and evaluate technical, safety, and regulatory training.
• Partner with Plant Operations and Corporate leaders to set learning priorities.
• Translate requirements into practical, scalable training solutions.
