Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in health care administration or nursing.

• Ability to lead staff, develop budgets and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and accountability for system-wide translation and interpretation.
• Leads strategic planning for language services across the system.
• Ensures quality monitoring and improvement in translation services.
• Builds relationships with management, staff and medical teams for LEP care.
• Designs activities to promote Translation and Interpretation Services.
• Develops and monitors capital and operating budgets with the director.
• Oversees staff performance, coaching, reviews and development.
• Engages in safety initiatives and risk mitigation for the department.
