Job summary

Edgewood Properties, Inc. in South Plainfield, NJ seeks a Land Development/Site Work Project Manager for the Excavation Department. You will plan, direct and implement site improvements to meet business objectives and serve as a resource for best practices on projects.

This role requires extensive knowledge of land development including entitlements, earthwork, drainage, utilities, and value engineering. Strong leadership and coordination with agencies, utilities, and contractors are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in Site Improvement/Land Development Management
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
• Ability to manage projects and supervise field ops
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience coordinating with governmental agencies and utilities

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily site improvement and land development field operations for multiple projects
• Managing contractors, verifying work completed and monitoring progress
• Leading meetings with governmental agencies/inspectors/HOAs
• Coordination with utility companies for installation of required services
• Manage bonds, schedules and budgets to meet production targets
• Prepare project invoices and issue change orders
• Coordinate with Engineering and Development during Entitlements
• Lead regular management meetings for multiple projects
