Job summary

Brunswick's Sea Ray lamination team in Tellico, TN seeks a production supervisor to lead frontline employees in the Small Parts department, driving safety, quality and delivery goals while coordinating launches from a sister plant.

You will train staff, implement standard work, optimize processes, analyze metrics, and maintain strong communication with all levels. Relocation is available; visa sponsorship not provided; onsite environment with relocation option.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 4+ years of Manufacturing experience
• Prior leadership experience or experience as a mentor
• Knowledge of safety practices in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to analyze data and understand metrics and systems
• Strong communication skills, including written, oral and listening.
• Experience resolving conflict with others and between others
• Ability to work with confidential information and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Ability and drive to become certified Green Belt
• Desire for continuous learning

Responsibilities

• Own the four main metrics (safety, quality, delivery, productivity/people) and drive action plans to meet targets.
• Spend 75% of time on the floor supervising daily production and 25% on admin and project tasks.
• Model Brunswick values and lead by example.
• Communicate professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Use MS Office, Shop Floor Manager, and OBMS to execute daily tasks and projects.
• Oversee a line or area with frontline employees and Leads.
• Review staffing needs and select applicants for open roles.
• Ensure safety of the team and adherence to safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Lead incident investigations with EH&S and drive corrective actions with Quality.
• Lead continuous improvement using Lean tools (5S, DMAIC, root cause).Identify road blocks and pull cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Manage performance, address conflicts, and conduct evaluations.
• Develop action plans from employee surveys and implement them.
• Manage timekeeping, absenteeism, and adherence to schedules.
