Job summary

Sea Ray Boats in Vonore, Tennessee is seeking a Lamination Technician I to perform routine mix and lay‑up of composite materials, fiberglass, resins and catalysts onto mold surfaces using hand tools and vacuum infusion processes.

You will prepare molds, apply fiberglass materials, sand and finish hull components, and install wood cores and other parts. Safety and quality standards govern all operations while you work with power tools and light-duty equipment in a fast-paced marine environment.

• Ability to work a 10+ hour shift standing, bending and reaching.
• Moderate lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mixing and lay‑up of composites using open mold and vacuum infusion.
• Prepare molds and apply fiberglass materials per instructions and standards.
• Sand, grind and finish fiberglass hulls, decks and small molds to specs.
• Install wood cores, inserts and other components into hulls and decks.
• Operate power tools and equipment (saws, drills, grinders, sanders, hoists) safely.
• Safely operate forklifts and tugger vehicles to transport molds and materials.
