Job summary

Brunswick Boat Group's Sea Ray lamination team seeks a production supervisor to lead frontline employees, drive safety, quality, delivery and productivity, and coordinate improvements for new model launches from a sister plant.

You will oversee daily production scheduling, staff planning, and ensure adherence to policies while mentoring team members and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 4+ years manufacturing experience.
• Prior leadership or mentoring experience is required.
• Knowledge of safety practices in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to analyze data, understand metrics and systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of handling confidential information.
• Willingness to pursue Green Belt certification and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production on the floor and oversee a line or area with frontline staff.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals and implement corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using tools like 5S, DMAIC, root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate training, standard work adoption, and process alignment during launches.
• Manage staffing, timekeeping, and scheduling; ensure policy and safety compliance.
• Communicate with employees and leadership; handle performance and disciplinary actions.
