Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or DO with a current medical license & board certification in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology or equivalent
• MD/DO/DPM with license and high complexity testing experience
• Doctoral degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical lab sciences with board certification or equivalent
• ABMGG certification preferred, NY CoQ in molecular genetics desirable

Responsibilities

• Support the clinical laboratory director to ensure effective functioning of all tests
• Define and monitor test performance characteristics to meet regulatory and medical standards
• Ensure validation and verification procedures are adequate for accuracy and precision
• Coordinate training, competency programs, and proficiency testing
• Collaborate with Quality on QC/QA programs and incident investigations
• Lead cross‑functional efforts during new product launches (SOPs, training, marketing reviews)
