Responsibilities

• Direct, review, assign, and organize the work of at least three employees, including one RN.
• Provide professional leadership to maintain efficient patient care.
• Coordinate department operations and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Act as a resource, preceptor, and mentor to new staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of practice.
• Contribute to patient flow activities including admissions and discharges.
• Conduct audits to ensure accurate documentation and care plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and motivate staff.
• Adjust staffing to ensure quality patient care and staff safety.
• Ensure timely management of patients and smooth transitions of care.
