Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Lead General Utility Worker to oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of front and back of house facilities. You will train and guide utility staff, ensure sanitation of dishes and kitchen tools, and support safety procedures across locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role
• Ability to exercise judgment based on previous experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• May act as an informal resource for those with less experience
• Knowledge of proper use and cleaning techniques for kitchen equipment
• Understanding of basic sanitation procedures

Responsibilities

• Trains and guides utility staff on job duties and safe sanitation procedures
• Ensures guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, and utensils cleaned and sanitized
• Maintains and cleans a dishwashing station, three compartment sink, storerooms, refrigerators, and related areas
• Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition; reports issues to management
• Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks
• Maintains excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward guests and coworkers
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and sanitation procedures
