Job summary

Carrabba's Italian Grill, LLC is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to support back-of-house operations and leadership within a busy kitchen. The role focuses on maintaining kitchen standards, supervising opening setups, inventory, and safety practices to ensure quality and efficiency across daily service.

The ideal candidate will have previous restaurant leadership experience, be trained in back-of-house functions, and hold legal eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Certified trainer in back-of-house functions.
• Passing grade in Assessment testing.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high employment standards per Bloomin' Brands policies.
• Assist in kitchen opening setup and oversee daily prep.
• Check schedule for incoming team members.
• Coach on security procedures and sanitation standards.
• Review daily inventory and shelf-life adherence.
• Ensure proper temperatures for freezer, dish machine, and refrigeration.
• Learn flavor profiles and follow recipe cards precisely.
• Oversee sanitation checks and daily health inspections.
• Manage kitchen flow to ensure timely ticketing and cook times.
