Job summary

Carrabba's Italian Grill is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to support back-of-house operations and uphold kitchen standards. You will lead and coach team members, assist with opening duties, monitor inventory, and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation procedures.

The ideal candidate will have leadership experience, certified trainer capabilities, and legal work authorization in the United States, plus flexibility in scheduling to meet restaurant needs.

Qualifications

• Certified trainer in any back-of-house functions.
• Passing grade in Assessment testing.
• Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Minimum 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen standards and assist back-of-house team members.
• Assist opening crew in the kitchen and check schedules.
• Adhere to security procedures and manage close of shift.
• Review daily inventory and prepare to receive orders.
• Track shelf-life adherence and check temperatures of freezer and refrigeration units.
• Follow recipe cards with accuracy and ensure daily sanitation checks.
