PILF Restaurant Group is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager for Cane Rosso at Hillcrest Village. The role oversees kitchen operations, staff training, and adherence to sanitation standards, while ensuring quality and consistency in food prep and service.

Qualifications

2+ years in varied kitchen roles; 6 months in a leadership position
Excellent communication with managers, kitchen staff and guests
Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Able to stand for long periods (up to 9 hours)
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Experience with POS and inventory software
Food service sanitation certificate

Responsibilities

Implements and maintains rules, policies and procedures.
Oversees training of new kitchen employees and fosters a positive work environment.
Ensures sanitation and safe operation of all kitchen equipment and utensils.
Manages scheduling of BOH labor to meet business activity and labor costs.
Complies with health, safety and labor regulations.
Maintains food cost, inventory, prep lists and waste records.
Ensures recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards are followed.
Coordinates with receiving policies and deliveries.
