Job summary

Dogma Dog Care seeks a leadership-minded individual to run kennel shifts, oversee feeding and medications, and ensure a clean, safe environment for dogs. You will assign tasks to handlers, monitor operations, and help train staff on canine behavior and care standards.

Must enjoy dogs, have strong time-management skills, and be available on weekends. Prior kennel experience is preferred to support daily operations and client communications.

Qualifications

• Experience in dog handling and animal care preferred for leadership role.
• Must love dogs and be attentive to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and oversee feeding, medications, and major cleaning to maintain a sanitary kennel.
• Delegate tasks to dog handlers and monitor daily operations.
• Assist customers and address concerns while maintaining logs of incidents and animal care.
• Support training of handlers on dog behavior and care standards.
• Some shift time outdoors and weekend availability required.
