Qualifications

Requires a journey level license as an electrician or plumber, or certification in carpentry, HVAC, or welding.
Six years of full-time, directly related experience in industrial or public facility maintenance; two years of journey level experience in one of the trades.

Responsibilities

Lead worker to staff and ensure completion of tasks.
Perform carpentry remodeling and maintenance of facilities.
Maintain commercial mechanical systems and perform basic maintenance on HVAC, boilers, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Perform electrical maintenance, repair light fixtures, switches and motors.
Read blueprints, sketches, and schematics to perform tasks.
May perform welding and metal fabrication work.
Order and maintain supplies, equipment, and inventory.
Assist in setting up rooms for functions and events; perform snow removal and landscape maintenance.
