Job summary

The City of Pasadena, TX is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to perform advanced maintenance at wastewater facilities, including treatment plants and lift stations. The role leads complex electrical work and ensures system reliability.

You will troubleshoot, install, modify, and repair electrical systems, maintain switchgear and motor controls, and use CMMS for scheduling and documentation. On-call rotations and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License required at hire.
• Minimum five years of industrial electrical experience.
• Valid Texas driver's license with good record.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems at wastewater facilities.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues in industrial equipment and facility systems.
• Install, modify, and repair electrical systems including conduit, wiring, and components.
• Lead technicians, coordinate projects, and use CMMS to document work and scheduling.
