The City of El Paso seeks a seasoned Industrial Electrician Supervisor to coordinate advanced diagnostics, installation, repair, and testing of high- and low-voltage electrical equipment across treatment facilities.

Under general supervision, you will guide electricians, contractors, and stakeholders, ensure safety, code compliance, and maintain thorough documentation and budgets for projects.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Business Administration, Environmental Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field and three years of journey-level industrial electrician experience in an industrial environment, water, or wastewater treatment facility, including one year of supervisory experience.
• Or High School Diploma or GED and five years of journey-level industrial electrician experience in an industrial environment, water, or wastewater treatment facility, including one year of supervisory experience.
• Valid Texas Driver's License required; Journeyman License required at time of application.

Responsabilités

• Oversee inspection and testing of electrical equipment to identify hazards and needs for repair.
• Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in buildings.
• Develop and implement electrical safety and maintenance procedures and maintain records.
• Prepare electrical plans, diagrams, and document modifications to upgrade equipment.
• Estimate projects including staffing, materials, and cost; oversee budgets and timelines.
• Direct coordination of electrical work with subordinates, contractors, and vendors.
