Job summary

The City of Phoenix is seeking a Water Services Electrician to support critical wastewater infrastructure. You will perform advanced electrical work on high-voltage systems up to 12,470 volts, including installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting across commercial and industrial applications.

You will read blueprints, interpret diagrams, and collaborate with the Electrical Crew Chief and Lead Electrician. The role includes mentoring staff and working multiple shifts in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized four-year electrical apprenticeship or equivalent.
• OR three years of experience as a skilled electrician.
• NFPA 70E/OSHA safety guidelines understanding.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment per NEC standards.
• Troubleshoot motor control wiring and industrial panels.
• Work with utility, mining, and industrial equipment in varied locations.
