Job summary

McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. in Tomball, TX is seeking Journeymen Electricians to support the Field Services Group on water and wastewater facilities projects.

You will perform electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing to ensure reliable operation. The role requires a valid Electrical Journeyman License and at least four years of experience, with preference for water/wastewater exposure.

Qualifications

• Electrical Journeyman License required.
• Minimum 4 years of electrical experience.
• Water/wastewater project experience preferred.
• Safety-focused and able to work in teams.

Responsibilities

• Terminate combiner boxes.
• Panel/LV work.
• Install metering equipment.
• Layout, bend, thread and install conduit.
• Layout and install switchgear, switchboards and electrical devices.
• Trench with shovel and install PVC raceway.
• Pull and terminate aluminum direct bury wire.
• Connect and support DC wire.
• Install electrical enclosures.
• Supervise the work of apprentices.
• Unload and stage material.
• Perform electrical testing and commissioning.
