Job summary

Synechron seeks a Lead Software Engineer to drive delivery across initiatives for large-scale applications. You will design, implement and supervise software in Java/J2EE with Spring Framework, RESTful services, and Kafka-based data flows.

You will mentor teammates, coordinate with architects, and ensure high-quality, scalable solutions via Agile SDLC practices at a global firm with 58 offices. This role is based in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on Java development experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong Spring Framework and Spring Boot background with RESTful services.
• Good OO design, and knowledge of J2EE application servers.

Responsibilities

• Work with architects to provide implementation solutions.
• Create prototypes to prove designs.
• Prepare UML diagrams describing current and future states.
• Review artifacts to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Develop, test, maintain and debug software supporting business units.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical direction.
• Coordinate with external teams to deliver on time and budget.
• Provide feedback to project managers on critical issues.
