Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a senior Learning Technology engineer to translate business needs into scalable software solutions. You will lead DEVOPS activities, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure secure, high-volume learning platforms across the enterprise.

The role emphasizes mentoring, knowledge sharing, and driving continuous improvement in learning technologies such as SharePoint-based tools and data integrations.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years experience implementing solutions using development life cycles (e.g., SDLC).
• Minimum two (2) years in a technical leadership role (with or without direct reports).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field and 8+ years experience in software development.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements and functional specs into software solutions.
• Lead and mentor team members; support release schedules and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive performance and improve processes.
• Provide technical leadership across DEVOPS, Waterfall and Agile practices.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
