Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Learning & Development professional to design and develop training, ensure curriculum accuracy, and troubleshoot as needed. You will collaborate to select training methods, establish education objectives, and guide learners using adult learning principles.

You will evaluate training effectiveness, develop program plans, review needs assessments, and conduct research on training norms to improve stakeholder outcomes and employee growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business, Education, Communications, Behavioral Science, or related field with 3+ years in training delivery or curriculum design (or 6+ years of related experience).
• Experience developing education modules and evaluating training outcomes.
• Ability to design and revise training content and collaborate with stakeholders to meet learning goals.

Responsibilities

• Pursue effective relationships by providing resources, information, and expertise; mentor team members.
• Complete assignments autonomously using up-to-date subject area expertise; follow policies and leverage data to support initiatives.
• Develop, analyze, and execute standard and non-standard training and project plans (scope, schedule, inter-dependencies, resources).
• Review needs assessments for training or performance issues and apply adult learning principles to training delivery.
• Measure training effectiveness and summarize results to improve future programs.
• Deliver training using best practices for modalities (virtual, in-person, etc.).
