Job summary

TIC Inc in the United States is seeking a Lead-level construction supervisor to manage daily activities, coordinate crews, and ensure safety and quality on site. The role involves planning, reporting, and enforcing company policies in alignment with project timelines and budgets.

You will supervise trades, conduct toolbox talks, and maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to supervise crafts and coordinate crew effectively.
• Ability to plan tasks to safely and efficiently carry out all work.
• Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing and meet fit-for-duty medical.
• Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Superintendent and Project Management to organize crew, materials, and equipment to achieve productivity and quality within budget.
• Examine and inspect work progress, equipment and sites to verify safety and ensure specifications are met.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity rates, time sheets and daily management reports.
• Assist in developing a weekly schedule and sequencing activities for assigned crew.
• Ensure timely completion of work within estimated costs while upholding quality workmanship.
• Maintain crew safety and enforce all company/government safety rules.
• Develop crew attitude by conducting toolbox talks and communicating safety concerns and plans.
• Monitor compliance with company policies by all supervised employees.
• Continuously check the work and adjust plans/schedule as required.
• Prioritize workload and operate within a defined budget.
