Job summary

You will oversee safety, conduct toolbox talks, monitor performance, and report on progress and costs. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to train crews while maintaining quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with field experience.
• Ability to supervise craft workers and transmit instructions clearly.
• Plan tasks safely and train crews in safety practices.
• Knowledge of scheduling, material control, and job cost basics.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials to promote safe, efficient and timely construction.
• Ensure construction equipment is operated and maintained correctly.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including quantities, productivity, time sheets and daily reports.
• Assist in developing weekly schedules and sequencing activities for the crew.
• Ensure completion of work within estimated costs while upholding TIC's quality.
• Uphold safety rules and lead toolbox talks; communicate plans to leadmen and crews.
• Monitor compliance with company policies.
• Observe safety and project rules; perform other duties as required.
