Job summary

Raytheon in McKinney, TX seeks a Principal Systems Engineer to serve as Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for a development program. You will lead program execution, ensure compliance with requirements, and strengthen customer and partner relationships in a complex environment.

Onsite role with active clearance needed from day one. The role requires strong leadership, strong collaboration across engineering and supply chain, and a proven track record in executing multi-discipline programs

Qualifications

Typically requires STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in Program Management and IPT execution in the Defense Industry.
Experience leading cross-functional teams, including at least four functions.

Responsibilities

Meet contractual commitments including financial, technical, and schedule targets.
Provide the technical execution leadership required to design, develop, integrate & test, verify, qualify and deliver a system that meets performance requirements.
Communicate program status to Raytheon leadership and customer stakeholders, while coordinating with Sub-IPTs.
Mentor and guide Sub-IPTs and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Mission Assurance, and Global Supply Chain.
Identify, manage, and mitigate risks or capture opportunities.
