Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX seeks an Advanced Programs Lead Systems Engineer to guide multidisciplinary teams on IPC and TTP contracts. You’ll drive requirements, verification planning, and system integration across IPTs, ensuring cost, schedule and performance alignment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
Significant systems engineering experience with requirements, verification and integration.
US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance are required.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end requirements development, decomposition, and traceability across IPC and TTP Advanced Programs.
Coordinate system-level integration planning and execution to prevent technical divergence.
Drive verification closure for hardware, software and system-level activities.
Maintain engineering process consistency across programs and provide technical guidance.
Mentor Systems Engineers and IPT leads; communicate status and risks to leadership.
