Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTL) in McKinney, TX. The role focuses on program execution, technical leadership, and cross-functional coordination to deliver a compliant system on schedule and within cost targets.

Onsite role requiring active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship, with engaging leadership across Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to mitigate risks and deliver production-ready designs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Program Management and IPT execution within the Defense Industry.
• Leading cross-functional teams across Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality.

Responsibilities

• Meet contractual commitments (financial, technical, schedule).
• Report program metrics including EAC to leadership.
• Provide technical execution leadership to design, develop, integrate & test a system to meet performance and cost targets.
• Communicate status and needed support to Raytheon leadership and customers; align Sub-IPTs.
