Job summary

PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy in Tennessee is seeking a Lead Inventory Coordinator to oversee the receiving of purchases for medications and supplies and to ensure accurate data in the pharmacy processing system.

You will also handle dispensing responsibilities, collaborate with finance on accruals and monthly reports, and optimize inventory using pharmacy software to maintain DSCSA compliance and efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Minimum of two (2) years of pharmacy operations experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to problem-solve within area of responsibility.
• Ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with computer software, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be registered with the state Board of Pharmacy or be eligible to obtain registration prior to or within the first 90 days of employment.
• Preferred: Minimum of two (2) years of specialty pharmacy experience.
• Preferred: Minimum of two (2) years of pharmacy purchasing/inventory management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving of all purchases related to medications and supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory data and system records.
• Collaborate with finance for accruals and monthly reports.
• Optimize inventory PAR levels and monitor stock usage patterns.
• Manage returns/recalls and ensure DSCSA requirements are met.
• Support cycle counts and inventory controls across wholesale areas.
