Job summary

Momsmeals is seeking a Lead Inventory Control Specialist at our North Jackson, OH facility. The role is hands-on, with about 50% inventory counting to ensure FEFO, lot code tracking, and data accuracy, and the rest spent researching root causes with the team to implement permanent corrective actions.

Based in the North Jackson location, you will count, report KPIs, maintain ERP/WMS records, and drive continuous improvements while coordinating cross-functional actions to reach 100% inventory

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ Cycle Count or Inventory Coordination experience.
• Experience in a production environment.
• Experience in a food production environment.
• Must obtain lift certification within 30 days of start.
• Regularly use hands to operate inventory control tools and systems.
• Able to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot).
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Physically count items in inventory using appropriate processes, and forms.
• Build and use reports to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Reconcile and resolve any second inventory count records.
• Update ERP/WMS system with Count Results and other items that affect inventory integrity.
• Maintain and report KPIs around first-pass accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline product flow.
• Set up and drive cross-functional corrective actions plans to eliminate root causes.
