Qualifikationen

• Associate's Degree required.
• Minimum 2 years work experience.
• Satisfactory completion of radiologic technology training and ARRT certification.
• Licensed by NY DOH as Radiologic Technologist with Injection.
• Knowledge of Radiographic exposure equipment.
• Ability to understand radiologic and medical terms.
• Knowledge of angiographic/interventional radiology procedures.
• Trained in immobilizing techniques for neonates/infants and elderly patients.

Aufgaben

• Prepare patients and rooms; enter data into Epic or systems as needed.
• Obtain cut film and digital images with proper exposure.
• Assist interventional radiologist during procedures.
• Maintain imaging workflow in Epic and Vue (PACS) and verify images in PACS.
• Photograph and process images for radiologist interpretation.
• Keep records of films, fluoro time, injections, etc.
• Follow radiation safety rules for patients and staff.
• Assist in training staff and students.
• Maintain orderliness of assigned area.
• Perform duties of 5T/4T technologist as needed.
