Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal radiologic technology training completed and ARRT certified
• Licensed by NY DOH as Radiologic Technologist with Injection
• Knowledge of radiographic exposure equipment
• Ability to communicate with patients and hospital staff
• Spatial perception to visualize inner structures for diagnostic imaging

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and rooms and enter data into Epic and other systems
• Obtain cut film and digital images; adjust exposure factors for high-quality images
• Direct involvement during interventional procedures with radiologist
• Maintain imaging workflow in Epic and Vue PACS; verify images and labeling
• Train staff and students; maintain orderliness and radiation safety
