Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY seeks a Radiologic Technologist with ARRT certification and NY DOH licensure with injection privileges. Under the Chief Technologist, you will perform imaging studies at a technical level with independence, support interventional procedures, and lead staff technologists as required.

You will handle patient prep, data entry into Epic, acquire scout and diagnostic images, ensure quality and safety, maintain imaging records, and uphold radiation safety

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• Formal radiologic technology training and ARRT certification.
• Licensed by NY DOH to perform radiologic procedures with injections.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and rooms for imaging procedures.
• Acquire scout films and digital images with correct exposure.
• Assist interventional radiologist during procedures.
• Maintain imaging workflow in Epic and PACS systems.
• Train staff and maintain records of exams, fluoro time, and injections.
