Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform interventional imaging procedures under the direction of the Chief Technologist, with leadership duties for staff technologists.

The role requires ARRT certification, NY DOH licensure with Injection, an Associate’s Degree, and at least two years of experience. Strong knowledge of radiographic exposure equipment, Epic/Vue PACS, and clear patient communication are essential.

Competenze

• Associate’s Degree required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Licensed by NY DOH as Radiologic Technologist with Injection.
• Knowledge of radiographic exposure equipment.
• Ability to understand radiologic and medical terms and communicate with patients and staff.
• Spatial perception to visualize internal structures for diagnostic imaging.
• Experience with angiographic and interventional radiology exams.
• Trained in immobilizing techniques for neonates and children.

Mansioni

• Prepare patients and rooms, enter data in Epic and other systems.
• Acquire scout films and obtain suitable images for diagnosis.
• Assist during procedures and monitor parameters with interventional staff.
• Maintain imaging workflow in Epic and Vue PACS, ensure proper labeling and orientation.
• Photograph and process digital images and label for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain records of exams, fluoro time and injections.
• Ensure radiation safety compliance for patients and staff.
• Assist in training associates and students.
