Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a leader in aircraft engines and systems, is seeking a Program Planner in our PP&S organization. You will drive the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) with stakeholders, baselines, and reviews, ensuring schedule integrity and alignment with government standards.

The role requires a DoD security clearance, strong program management experience, and collaboration with CAMs, CIPTs, and IPMTs to deliver sound scheduling and risk analyses. Onsite role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Associate’s degree with 7+ years’ relevant experience, or 9+ years in lieu of a 4yr degree.
• Experience as a program Scheduler or Planner.
• Experience in program and/or project management.
• Experience supporting government proposals.
• Experience in Earned Value Management.
• Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Active DoD security clearance required before start date.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Interpret contract requirements to create an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) with official quality checks.
• Lead IMS baselines and serve as IMS lead in reviews and meetings.
• Support technical work scope owners by analyzing schedules and implementing baseline changes.
• Analyze critical path assessments and drive root cause analyses to variance recovery.
• Lead development and delivery of Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs) and Critical Path Analysis.
• Coordinate with Earned Value Analysts, CAMs, and CIPTs to align SAP and IMS reporting.
• Create and update scheduling procedures and standard work.
• Continuously expand scheduling knowledge and communicate improvements within PP&S.
