Job summary

Yellowstone Local, representing Unified Home Solutions, seeks a Lead Insulation Technician based in Kent, Ohio 44240 to guide 2-3 crew members on residential and commercial insulation projects across Northeast Ohio. You will travel to job sites from the shop, supervise installations, and ensure safety and quality on every project.

The role requires 3-5 years of hands-on insulation or construction experience, strong leadership, and a solid knowledge of tools and job-site practices.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in insulation, construction, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with insulation installation and/or construction.
• Ability to lead a crew of 2-3 team members on residential and commercial insulation projects.
• Ability to drive company vehicles and meet company insurance eligibility requirements.
• High school coursework.
• Working knowledge of construction job-site practices, hand tools, power tools, and insulation installation equipment.
• Ability to maintain quality and productivity while leading hands-on field work.
• Ability to follow job-site safety procedures and project specifications.
• Dependable attendance, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work an 8-hour workday, with start and end times varying depending on the job.
• Ability to work overtime as available.
• Ability to report to the shop and travel to job sites throughout Northeast Ohio, generally within a one-hour drive of Kent, Ohio.
• No specific license or certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Crews in insulation installation across residential and commercial projects.
• Coordinate daily field activities to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Perform hands-on insulation installation with your crew.
• Set expectations for workmanship, safety, productivity and professionalism.
• Drive company vehicles as required and maintain insurance eligibility.
